Thanks for checking in and allowing
me to introduce myself. My partner aka daughter, Brit, asked me to write a
blurb about myself which I found very intimidating as the write-ups and
communication have been her area of expertise. I enjoy reading our posts much as our followers do!!!
Although
I have always had a strong interest in home decor, my career was, for the most
part, in the medical field. While helping others in their aspirations, I was
neglecting my true passion. When Britt invited me to join her in her venture I
was flattered, nervous, and excited.
I
have always had a keen interest in furniture and decorating (much to my
husband's chagrin), so this seemed like a no-brainer. Instead of constantly
dragging furniture and accessories into our small house I am now dragging
treasures into our garage. Not only do I fulfill my need for change on almost
a daily basis but am able to earn a bit of money to "shop" for
more treasures. And the icing on the cake is when a client picks up their piece
and is as enthusiastic about their purchase as I was refinishing it!
I
